W Residences, by Taraf with W Hotels, brings the Whatever/Whenever concierge service. Both are off-plan, so what you buy today is a specification and a brand, not a finished home.

Al Maryah Vista is a completed, non-branded project with pools, a gym, landscaped gardens and retail, close to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, The Galleria Al Maryah Island and the Four Seasons Hotel. Its developer lists homes from 351 sq ft to 3,894 sq ft, so it covers studios up to penthouses at the island address without a hotel brand.
What a brand adds and what it costs
A brand usually adds services and a resale story, and it usually adds a service charge to match. Ask for the estimated service charge, which services it covers, who operates the building and how long the brand agreement runs, before you compare prices.
Choosing between them
Choose branded if you want the services and can accept an off-plan timeline. Choose the ready tower if you want to see the home you are buying, rent it now or keep running costs lower. If you cannot decide, view Al Maryah Vista first, because it is the only one you can walk into.
